CEMEX Czech Republic, Ltd. producer of concrete mix based in Dětmarovice and operating across the whole Czech republic has just completed implementation of the business solution Microsoft Business Solutions – Navision. The solution has been implemented, thanks to a long-term co-operation, AXIOM SW Ltd.

The decision to purchase a new business solution was given especially by a need to integrate financial, trading, purchasing and warehouse information within a single system with a focus on managerial and analytical functions of the selected system. Another important requirement concerned integration of data from the Siemens production system and weighting system Schenck into the selected business solution.

The decision to select Microsoft Business Solutions – Navision solution was made in August last year. Analytical and further implementation steps were launched immediately in the following month. The implementation was completed in April this year. The result is a business solution on Microsoft Business Solutions – Navision basis including sale, purchase, warehouse, transportation and production areas together with modifications enabling integration of this solution with weighting system Schenck and production system Siemens. Thanks to the used implementation methodology called On Target, the whole implementation was completed within 8 months since the initial analysis.

Result – the new business solution for CEMEX’s Czech Republic, Ltd. information system made the work of its employees easier and management gained an immediate access into all necessary information and therefore a tool for effective decision making regarding further activities of the company.
