The association of BLOCK and cooperative companies operates in many countries in the world. But its roots point to the Czech Republic. Since 1991 the company has been orientating to activities connected with projection, delivery, validation activity and buildings service for ambitious technologies in the spheres of usage such as pharmacy, chemistry, electrical engineering and health.
The company used IS NAVISION 3.56 that stopped being suitable in service, capacity and quality of provided data and possibility of their analysis. Particular projects monitoring with the possibility of monitoring the budgets in projects was another and quite important insufficiency. That was the reason why the management of the company decided to implement IS Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV which was up to their standards.
Description of professional solution:
The implementation of the business solution called Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV was carried out in three months. Requirements analysis was carried out, the solution was proposed and in the following period the phase of programme changes according to the client’s requirements was carried out.
The module called Projects was developed after a detailed search. It enables:
• Definition and control of particular projects with the connection to particular customers
• Control of budgets of particular projects with a possibility of definitions of particular project levels – phases, tasks and steps
• Definition of projects teams
• Definition of particular people’s responsibility
• Definition of ‘Cash Flow’ project
